Hamsters are cute but they can be weird sometimes. New hamsters tend to sniff around their new cages. It looks kind of funny when they wiggle their nose. It seems like hamsters can't make up their minds. They come out of their hideout eat for 3 seconds and takes a really quick sip of water then runs on the wheel for 2 seconds and then they go back to bed. Hamsters bury because it is their natural instinct. Thy kick up all of the bedding and sleep wherever they want for hours at a time. Even though hamsters are nocturnal, sometimes they stay up all day and night and drive you insane. If you accidentally wake up your hamster you may hear a screeching sound. It almost sounds like a zipper. This means that they did not want to wake up and they want you to leave them alone. Hamsters groom themselves and it looks like there tiny hands go over their head and it is pretty cute. All of these behaviors are actually very common for hamsters. If your hamster does any of these things they are completely normal so no need to worry.
