The sun is shining and your hamster needs to cool down. What are you going to do about it. First what you can do is freeze there hideout for 15-20 minutes to keep it nice and cool. Frozen vegetables are a nice hamster treat on a warm july day. Fill your hamsters water bottle with cold water and fill it more often. Keep your hamster in a room with a fan but make sure the fan isn't facing directly at the cage. You can move your hamster to a cooler part of the house. The months have gone buy and now we are in winter and your hamster is burrowing and is too scared to come out. We should probably do something about that. Keep your hamster in the warmest part of your house. Add more bedding and used paper based because it traps more heat in. You can use a hot water bottle or a microwavable type heater.
