Hamster safety

There are tons of ways to keep your hamster safe and healthy. Make sure to keep your hamster in a quiet place away from the window. They need to be form 55 to 80 degrees fahrenheit. If they get to hot they could have heatstroke. Keep hamsters away form larger animals like cats and dogs. They have been known to injure or even kill hamsters. Don't put it's cage in a high place because if it escapes it could take a hard fall. House your hamsters alone or else they could attack or kill each other. If you are buying a new cage, do not buy a bar cage because they could get their feet stuck and that could give them bumblefoot. Make sure to wash yours hands before and after handling a hamster. They could bite you if there is an unfamiliar smell on your hand.
